On December 9, 2025, Hyderabad Institute for Technology and Management Sciences (HITMS), Daman-e-Kohsar, organized an informative seminar on E-Commerce and International Trading. The seminar aimed to provide students with practical insights into global trade and modern business opportunities.
The event was chaired by the Institute’s Rector, Professor Dr. Saeed-ud-Din, and organized by Director ORIC, Dr. Muhammad Ali Shah. The seminar was attended by Academic Head Dr. Asad, Deputy Director Student Affairs Mr. Rashid Ali Rao, Assistant Director Coordination Mr. Saad bin Saeed, faculty members, and students of the BS Fin-Tech program.
The keynote speaker, Mr. Taha Jamal, CEO of Door to Door Cargo, delivered a comprehensive session on the process of importing goods from China and Europe. He explained practical steps involved in international trading and highlighted the logistics, shipping, and facilitation services offered by his company.
While addressing the audience, Professor Dr. Saeed-ud-Din emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship, encouraging students to initiate their own businesses, even on a small scale, rather than solely relying on job opportunities.
Mr. Taha Jamal actively engaged with the students, answered their questions, and appreciated their enthusiasm and curiosity regarding international trade. The seminar was hosted by faculty member Mr. Sufiyan, and certificates were distributed among the participants at the conclusion of the event.
The seminar proved to be a valuable learning experience, enhancing students’ understanding of e-commerce and global trading practices while motivating them toward entrepreneurial growth.
