HITMS Honors Students with Certificate of Appreciation for Prime Minister Youth Laptop Scheme

The Hyderabad Institute for Technology & Management Sciences (HITMS) proudly organized a Certificate of Appreciation Ceremony at the HITMS Auditorium to recognize and honor students who received laptops under the Prime Minister Youth Laptop Scheme. The event was held as a follow-up to the main laptop distribution ceremony that took place on 14 February 2026 at Nazeer Hussain University, Karachi.

The ceremony aimed to acknowledge the academic dedication and achievements of HITMS students who were selected for this prestigious national initiative. By awarding certificates of appreciation, the institute celebrated the hard work, commitment, and academic excellence demonstrated by the students.

The certificates were distributed by Prof. Dr. Saeeduddin Shaikh (Rector) in the presence of distinguished university officials including Prof. Dr. Syed Iqleem Haider Taqvi (Registrar), Dr. Zahoor Hussain Shah (Dean), Mr. Mukhtiar Rajput (Director Finance), and Mr. Rashid Ali Rao (Deputy Director Student Affairs). Their presence highlighted the importance of encouraging students to actively participate in initiatives that promote technological advancement and educational growth.

During the ceremony, Rector Prof. Dr. Saeeduddin Shaikh addressed the students and congratulated them on their achievement. He appreciated their dedication toward academic excellence and encouraged them to utilize the laptops effectively for learning, research, and innovation. He also emphasized that technology is a powerful tool for education and urged students to use it to enhance their knowledge, develop new skills, and contribute positively to society and the nation.

The event concluded with the distribution of certificates, group photographs, and motivational remarks from faculty members.
