The 3rd Meeting of the Board of Governors (BoG) of Hyderabad Institute for Technology and Management Sciences (HITMS) was held at the Conference Room of Nazeer Hussain University, Karachi. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, who appreciated the progress achieved by HITMS since its establishment and emphasized maintaining high academic standards, transparency, and institutional development aligned with national higher education policies.
The meeting was attended by distinguished members of the Board, including Prof. Dr. Saeeduddin Shaikh (Rector HITMS), Prof. Dr. Sarosh Lodi, Prof. Dr. Abdul Qadeer Rajput, Mrs. Rana Ansar, Mr. Suleman Khan (Regional Director, HEC), Prof. Dr. Nasir Ansar, Dr. Zahoor Hussain Shah (Incharge Dean), and Prof. Dr. Syed Iqleem Haider Taqvi (Registrar HITMS).
During the session, the Board discussed all agenda items in detail and deliberated on key matters related to academic development, administrative strengthening, financial management, faculty affairs, and the Institute’s future strategic direction. The honorable members offered valuable recommendations aimed at enhancing the institutional framework and improving operational efficiency.
The Chair acknowledged the dedicated efforts of the Rector, faculty, and administration for their commitment to the growth and progress of the Institute. The Board unanimously reaffirmed its full support to ensure that HITMS continues to evolve as a center of excellence in higher education and research.
