A Safety and Awareness Seminar was conducted at HITMS by Rescue 1122 (SERS) in collaboration with the Student-Led Community Service Society of HITMS.
The session focused on fire safety, emergency response procedures, fire classification, and life-saving techniques. A practical demonstration of CPR was also conducted by trained emergency professionals to provide students with hands-on experience in basic life-saving skills.
The event was attended by the Registrar, Dean, faculty members, academic staff, and students of HITMS.
On the occasion, Dr. Zahoor Hussain Shah, Dean FCET HITMS, presented a shield of appreciation to Syed Yaseen Shah Rashdi, Deputy Rescue Commander, Hyderabad District, Sindh Emergency Rescue Services (SERS) in recognition of his valuable training services.
The seminar concluded with a message promoting safety awareness and the importance of preparedness for emergencies, contributing towards a safer campus environment.
