Dr. Ahmed Niaz Akhtar (Sitara-e-Imtiaz), Chairman of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan, visited Hyderabad Institute for Technology and Management Sciences (HITMS).
The distinguished guest was received by Prof. Dr. Saeeduddin Shaikh (Rector), Prof. Dr. Iqleem Haider Taqvi (Registrar), and Dr. Zahoor Hussain Shah (Dean, FCET).
During the visit, the Chairman undertook a comprehensive tour of the academic block and reviewed various academic and administrative facilities of the institution. He was briefed on the academic programs, institutional progress, and ongoing initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of higher education.
A detailed discussion was held on academic development, institutional strengthening, and the expansion of degree programs, reflecting HITMS’s strategic vision for growth and excellence.
The Chairman also held an interactive session with faculty members, where he shared his valuable insights and professional experience, and appreciated the efforts of the institution in promoting quality education.
