Hyderabad Institute for Technology and Management Sciences (HITMS) proudly marked a significant milestone with the successful inauguration of its IT Club. The ceremony was honored by the presence of Dr. Zahoor Hussain Shah, Dean, Faculty of Computing and Emerging Technologies, who officially unveiled the IT Club logo and appreciated the thoughtful vision behind its design.
In his address, Dr. Zahoor Hussain Shah highlighted the crucial role of academic societies in bridging the gap between academia and industry. He emphasized that extracurricular activities play a vital role in shaping students’ personal and professional development, equipping them with skills essential for success in today’s competitive world. He also commended the dedicated efforts of the IT Club mentors, Mr. Azhar Ali Khaskheli and Ms. Rashida Sohail, for their guidance and commitment in establishing and mentoring the society.
Dr. Asad Raza also shared his insights, stressing that academic societies significantly contribute to building leadership qualities, confidence, and overall growth among university students.
The event was professionally hosted by Mr. Ahmed Asghar and Ms. Fasiha Afridi, whose confident presentation and coordination ensured the ceremony’s smooth execution. The occasion was further enriched by the presence of respected faculty members, lab supervisors, and staff of HITMS, whose participation added encouragement and value to the event.
