Hyderabad, Sunday, November 2, 2025 – The second meeting of the Board of Governors (BoG) of the Hyderabad Institute for Technology and Management Sciences (HITMS) was held today under the esteemed chairmanship of Mr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training.
The meeting was attended by distinguished members including Prof. Dr. Saeeduddin (Rector, HITMS), Prof. Dr. Syed Iqleem Haider (Registrar), Prof. A.Q. Mughal (Former Vice Chancellor, Sindh Agriculture University), Prof. Dr. Abdul Qadeer Rajput (Former Vice Chancellor, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro), Mr. Adeel Siddiqui (President, Chamber of Commerce), Ms. Rana Ansar (Member, National Assembly), and Dr. Nasir Ansar.
During the session, various institutional and administrative matters were reviewed and formally approved. The Project Coordinator, Engineer Syed Afsar, presented a detailed briefing on the ongoing development work at the approved land site for HITMS, highlighting the progress and future development plans.
The honorable participants expressed satisfaction and appreciation for the institute’s progress, academic initiatives, and developmental advancements. They also assured their continued cooperation and support for the institute’s mission to promote quality education, innovation, and professional excellence in the region.
