Mission
Hyderabad Institute of Technology and Management Sciences (HITMS) was established by the Federal Government of Pakistan through an Act of the National Assembly as a Degree Awarding Institute (DAI). This initiative is part of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) project titled “Establishment of Federal Institute at Hyderabad”, reflecting the government’s commitment to expanding quality higher education opportunities in Sindh, particularly in the city of Hyderabad.
To be a leading institution in higher education, fostering innovation, research excellence, and character development to produce globally competent professionals who contribute meaningfully to society and the advancement of knowledge.

HITMS Celebrates Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day
Hyderabad Institute for Technology & Management Sciences (HITMS), Hyderabad, commemorated Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day with a vibrant 14-day celebration (1–14 August 2025) under the banner of “Marka-e-Haq” and in tribute to the historic Operation Bunyan-Um-Marsoos.
The celebrations reflected HITMS’s commitment to honoring the sacrifices of the nation’s heroes, engaging youth in patriotism, and promoting values of unity, sustainability, and community service. Over two weeks, the university hosted a series of impactful events that brought together students, faculty, staff, and distinguished guests.
